The idea started for this site way back in 2003. The Mighty Ducks on Anaheim were in the midst of their Cinderella run for the cup, and Flames fans were reading stories about how many ex-Flames were big parts of their playoff team.

I don't know what is more sad, that we lost all these great potential players, or the fact that this is what makes news in Flame country in the spring. No matter, it was time for a voice for the people. So here it is. So use it.

This is a not-for-any- type of major profit kind of site. If it were, I'd just use the money to buy stupid stuff like a Jumbotron Flames Wall Light, or a Flames Thermometer Light switch, or (God help me) Flames Tickets.

If the site is popular, I'm gonna do some contests for tickets or photo opportunities with your Favorite Flame. So keep coming back, and the site will change as often as I can change it.
